By and large, what are the ages of people on DU?
I know the ages of some people already, I won't name them ;)

Three days before the Christmas that's coming, I'll be 27 years-old.

(I'd really like to know how old a bear that's blue is...but I'm not asking, because he'd never tell me...he's simply a mystery and I don't want him blushing now do I? :blush: )

So, what are your ages? If you don't want to say, then that's okay by me :)

At 27 one could have taken for a "moderate dem" but as my world view grew my political/economic positions fled the "third way" toward ideas that may seem nutty to 50% of DUers but that's just the way things go sometimes.

I think my 50s have been the most fun decade of my life! Who'd of thunk it?

Heh... well, part of the fun is that for some reason (definitely not clean living) I really don't look my age. A couple of years ago, a guy at work guessed, "Well... you've GOT to be forty." Showed him my driver's license and he actually had to use a calculator to confirm his figures. A minute later I heard "Holy shit! You're FIFTY-FOUR?!?!?!" coming from his cubicle. :rofl:

On the other hand, my son's mother-in-law was born on Dec. 31st. We're going to celebrate with her in Utah (along with the rest of the world!).

I guess you can live with the juxtaposition for a few more years. I'm more and more convinced this pResident will be "deep-sixed" sooner rather than later.

Oh, by the way. My grandson was born on February 6, 1989 -- President Ronald Reagan's birthday. Can't believe my grandkid is such a big guy now! And the other joker is gone and not too much lamented, at least not by our family.

I get carded in the store. But I look at the fetuses (fetii?) in my year and feel like I should be getting a senior citizen discount.

I think the toughest part for me is that I'm too old to care about partying and drinking, yet too single to relate the older students that only talk about their kids and hang out where kids are.

you hit it exactly. I'm 31 now, but I don't relate to married students at all, even ones without kids and who are still young. Don't care about drinking or partying either. It's tough being single because most women I meet really are still girls. I don't have much in common with a 20 or 21 year old, lol.

Fetii? That cracked me up. OMG, though, some kids look soooooo young! I read you on the senior citizen discount thing. All the way. Anybody can feel old when you sit next to some fresh faced youngster who looks 14, lol.
