He missed at 54 yards ... fine. But the other two should have been no problem, especially since the weather was perfect.

15. good point
g-men could avoid playing da bears in the 2nd round if they were to get the 4th/5th seed, which is where they are now. I'm sure they would rather play seattle in the 2nd round.

8. That game shows the current influence of TV
When Shockey apparently fumbled after the reception yet the Giants recovered, it would have been down to the 20 yard line. Much closer than any of the missed FGs. But FOX showed the replay from the opposite angle just in time to save Seattle's ass. It was obvious Shockey had bobbled the ball throughout and Holmgren called timeout to wakeup the upstairs replay crew. Sure enough, they finally reviewed it and reversed the call. They got it right but a different producer might not have summoned that angle in time, and the game ends differently.

14. what an ugly-ass game
there is NO excuse for Feely missing 3 times like that...and what will be forgotten in all that was the great drive to tie the game in the 4th quarter...2 point conversion and all!

you can't even imagine the string of obscenities that came out of my mouth when Feely missed that last one
