1. Depends on who gets cloned. If it's Bush - ew, ick, yuck!
Robots are OK because they can be reprogrammed. No RW * for long with plenty of liberal techies hanging around DU!

Clones, being a copy, can be no better than the existing models, and, likely, due to replication errors, be quite a bit less reliable.

Robots, on the other hand, can't be bargained with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.
