Any other "Waterworld" fans?
I think it's one of the best "I've had a lot to drink and I'd like to watch some mindless entertainment" movies. Anyone else with me here?

1. Watch the extended version.
It fills in the plot holes. With cliche, but it fills them in.

It's really a shame. The visuals in that movie were great, and they could have done so much more with the concept. Instead, it was (pardon the pun) all wet.

2. It's entertaining, which is what I expect a movie to be. So yes, I'm
a fan of Waterworld.

5. "What're ya thinkin'?"
Slap to head.

I thought it was awful, but Dennis Hopper as the oil barge captain was AWESOME!

He made the movie worth watching.

That, and S'Meat.

7. my wife loves that movie, without being bored, or
drunk or under the influence....took me by surprise. But one of the extras in the movie is a friend of hers from college, so she has a reason to watch it.

9. I liked it, too.
Okay, maybe the acting wasn't great, and the Dennis Hopper scenes too over-the-top. I didn't care; there's a sense of mythic destiny about it that feels right.
