We're getting POUNDED with freezing rain right now. (It's hell outside)

And I'm not talking about a little pussy freezing drizzle, I'm talking about ICE PELLETS AND CHUNKS shooting from the sky at this moment. I had to drive back into town 230 miles today under only LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE conditions, and it still took me half the day to get here, because I had to drive 20 mph on the VERY icy roads. The number of cars I counted in the ditch on my trip was 27. Two people announced dead so far on the interstates today from car accidents due to the ice.

I just wanted to walk outside to the parking lot to get some groceries out of my trunk to take back to my dorm, but it's so terrible outside, I just said "fuck it". It looks like the 9th layer of hell out there right now. I slipped on the sidewalk twice, and I wasn;t even 10 feet outside my door, so I just went back in. Everything is COATED in a thick layer of ice. This is the most dangerous weather condition on Earth, IMO. I'm trapped inside for at least the next day or so. I don't know HOW IN THE HELL I'll be able to walk the five blocks to class tomorrow morning.

At least I'm safe at home, but I wish I could've broght my groceries in. I'm just thankful to God I came home in one piece.
