Andre Reiu...anyone ever heard of him?
Violinist and conductor. MrG and I had a blast watching his concert on PBS with our son last night. So much so that I'm going to get tickets for his concert here in May. I had never heard of him, but his concerts are very much audience participation, so my son enjoyed it, and he covers such a wide range of genre. "Over the Rainbow", "Old Castle" (Japanese), The Last Rose (Irish)...any way, I really recommend tuning in if you see one of his concerts on PBS.

4. Of course I have!

I work part-time in a music and book store and have a couple of his promos, if I'm not mistaken.

And I support our local PBS station, like any good guilt-ridden baby boomer, so of course I get the little program guide letting me in on all the music programs.

I'm a Gil Shaham person myself. :loveya:

6. Glad to meet another one.
One of my clients has met Shaham several times and says he's quite down to earth.

I don't have the albums you posted, but I am playing Schubert for Two as often as I can.
