GOD! I used to really like the Peas, but that "My Hump" song is a misogynist's dream! Catchy as hell, with a MESSAGE from hell. Fergie singing about how her butt and her breasts have her boyfriend spending all his time and money on her.

When I first heard it, I thought it HAD to be sarcasm. But the video makes it clear to me that it's just another skankfest.

Ew.

And I am the LAST person on earth to be a prude about anything. But I hate the thought that adolescent girls (and boys!) are listening to those lyrics. I know I shouldn't take it all so seriously, but ... EW!

2. They so went downhill after Elephunk

I loved that album and the band seemed to not only have some great grooves to their music but socially conscious to boot.

I'd rather own Scott Stapp's new album than the Black Eyed Pea's most recent crap!

3. I heard my 9 year old cousin singing that song this weekend

I really felt that it was inappropriate for her to be singing songs like that but it's on the friggen radio every 3 minutes so what can you do. Apparently its pretty popular with all of her friends too.
