I'm dog sitting for a week and any advice is welcome.
Teddy is an 11 month old Shitshu, the owner left me with some dried up food in a box that doesn't say what it is. Ted isn't exactly chowing down.
Also I took him for a walk in the park and he didn't do his "business". When I got him home he quickly peed on the rug. Any helpful suggestions?

1. can you hook him outside somewhere for a while?
you might want to give him some space for a bit - he doesn't seem to like that you are there.

3. Just leave the food out, he'll eat when he's hungry
some dogs are just like that.

4. Dogs are funny that way. They don't do well when their routine
is disrupted. Case in point: I have two dogs, a big Golden Retriever and a tiny little Pug. Because of holiday travel plans, I left the Golden with my ex-SO. She's been at his place since last Wednesday, and I'll pick her up today. Anyway, since then, my little Pug has been on a hunger strike of sorts because she is upset that the Golden is away. She hasn't eaten more than a few bites of food here and there for almost a week now! I'm looking forward to getting the Golden home tonight, so the Pug can finally eat.

I have no wise words, just give it a little time and see what happens.
