Me, I was gonna to be an Astrologer although at the time I didn't know the difference between an Astronomer (which is technically what I thought I would be doing) and an Astrologer.

104. You've got guts!
Bulls scare the bejeebus out of me.

I had the opportunity, as a teen, to participate on a very small cattle drive. Once I got near those bulls - eh, let's say it was brown trousers time. :D I was always a very confident (horse) rider, so that got me through.

I did see some bull riding up close at a couple of stampedes...either you're incredibly brave, or nuts.

108. more like I had very few working brain cells
It's not bad if you grow up around that stuff. I used to ride steers and cows every once in a while in rodeos when I was a kid, so when I was 16 and started rodeoing again it was only natural that I moved up to bulls. Sure, it is something that isn't for the meek, but it's not nearly as loony as it sounds to someone who didn't grow up around it. It wasn't that big a deal to me, because I always knew I would eventually give it a shot. I basically had to retire involuntarily because of injuries and I was more serious about my wrestling career too. Wrestling is actually crazier than riding bulls, imo. I did stuff in training etc, that I couldn't imagine doing now, lol. (running through waist high snow drifts and losing 14 pounds in 4 days? WTF was I thinking?) :)

D-cups and all. Something tells me I'd be a ballerina who didn't get much work! :-)

I also wanted to be a knight. So on the nights I wasn't dancing Swan Lake in my bust-enhanced tutu, I'd be slaying dragons. (Clearly I had very strange ideas about what grown-ups actually did when they went to work every day.)

In real life: I took ballet lessons as a kid, but was kicked out due to lack of flexibility. However, I do play in a medieval recreation organization on the weekends, so at least one of those dreams kind of came true!

126. Knew there was another archaeologist in the crowd
Growing up in Alabama, I was the only six y/o archaeologist wannabe in my school. Most of the boys wanted to QB the Crimson Tide and then be a fireman or policeman.

Me, I had to be different: QB *West Virginia* and *then* be a world-famous archaeologist.

77. The always popular Cocktail Waitress
Now before you start tisking at what a bad mommy I had, taking me into bars and such, I lived in Manhattan, around the corner from a bar and always saw the cocktail waitresses coming to or leaving work. At 6, I was very fond of the uniform.

but then I saw The Sound of Music and wanted to be a nun.

Then I wanted to be an actress and singer. That seemed more fun.
I had to settle on being a singer!

88. I'm too young to have the job I wanted when I was six
When I was five I wanted to be president because Reagan was a bad man and when I grew up I was gonna show this nation how a president should do their job. I even had my campaign strategy planned. I decided I didn't want to run for any elected office when I was running for 1st gr class president I lost by one vote because Karen offered to kiss any boy that voted for her.

111. boxing is a blast
I used to box in smokers every once in a while. Used sparring to train for wrestling too. Now that I'm older and out of shape I just marvel at how well-conditioned fighters are. I sparred with one of my younger brothers about 4 years ago and was so frickin' gassed after a few minutes it was unbelievable. I just stood hunched over in front of him with my gloves on my knees while he jabbed the hell out of me. I was so winded I couldn't even fight anymore, lol.
