Poll question: Do you think I'm too serious?
You've read my articles, my rants and my snide/asinine remarks. Do you think I'm all serious/without humor? I ask because it seems that when I post in the Lounge, it's like I'm speaking to a brick wall. Do people think I'm some overly-political tight-arse?

You tell me.

1. Don't feel bad
I've posted stuff that I think will win me acclamation of the entire world, and it gets all of two hits.

Maybe I should title the next one, "Joe Lieberman tortures cute kitty to death".

2. That won't work
Too predictable. Now, if you titled it, "Wesley Clark tickle-tortures Howard Dean to death", you may get some hits.

3. Howard Dean Bites the Head off of Dakota Fanning
... and her cute kitty-cat.

Nuanced, yet subtly plangent.

Before the Great Sex Thread Crackdown, it would have been easy to use a title with the word "spanking" in it. But these days, it's just too much trouble to think up clean alternatives.

4. Um, no...
I think most people are too unserious (but then I'm frequently called "too serious" myself).

5. I like your serious side
when you post, I make sure I read it thoroughly, and not just scan it. I respect what you say, and wish you'd post more often.

I hit the brick wall here too, along with a whole bunch of others. When I post, the thread usually dies. Hope I haven't jinxed this one for you, Marty.

:)
