1. Yes. I do.
Since my real name IS my username. terrya is just my first name with the first letter of my last name.

Real brave, huh? :-)

4. Not quite, though
You'd have to change yourlegal name to terrya, just the one word.

Could you do that? Other than that it's difficult to pronounce, it's not that bad.

Some DU names would make unwieldy or odd real names, like ShortBusPresident or if_its_from_the_whitehouse_it_must_be_true or tandalayoscheisskopf

8. Sure I could.
terrya...in lower case....why not? If it worked for e.e. cummings. Plus, I'd have that truncated thing going. Sounds good to me. Plus pronouncing terrya would be easy...rhymes with "Perrier".

I liked you comment about the other DU names. Yes, unwieldly to say the least. :-)

I picked my name because it was all I could come up with on the spur of the moment. I may be liberal, but am certainly not a muse. I usually just use my real name.

19. Not me. A couple of years ago, I had a freeper co-worker who would
google the names of office workers to see where they showed up on the net. He saw my name on an anti-Bush site and went ballistic on me. I can do without that kind of hassle.

I've used my username as my avatar in scifi fandom as well as here. Lots of people call me Darth Velma or just Velma anyway. :shrug:
