Two Buckeyes Charged With Disorderly Conduct
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Two Ohio State football players have been charged with disorderly conduct following a fight last weekend outside a dorm near Ohio Stadium.

Starting wide receiver Santonio Holmes and kick returner Troy Smith each were charged with misdemeanor counts Thursday, according to court documents.

The fourth-ranked Buckeyes play at No. 5 Michigan on Saturday to determine the Big Ten champion. A win could give Ohio State a chance to defend its national title in the Sugar Bowl.

Athletic director Andy Geiger said coach Jim Tressel had not informed him what team penalties the players could face, or whether they would make the trip to Ann Arbor for the game.

3. Just goes to show
that there are bad guys who play in every program. Quite a few big time atheletes think they are above it all, even the law.

5. Finish the story, VermontDem....
....or don't you want to give the full account?????

The two players came to the rescue to 2 women who were being assaulted at Merill Tower. They confronted the group, which resulted in a fight and everybody involved got charged in the fight.

Doesn't exactly paint the picture you wanted to paint, does it?????

6. Hello, there is a 4 paragraph rule
You can search all my articles I post, they are always the first 4 or 5 paragraphs from the top. I am not trying to paint any picture.

You could have at least added a comment that properly told the story, but you knew what you were doing. Playing innocent now doesn't help much.

Say, what's it like to have a team that has given up more points in their last 3 games than Ohio State has given up in their last 8????

Points surrendered
Arizona State
51 - Cal
38 - Stanford
34 - Wash. State
123 - total

Ohio State
17 - BGSU
0 - Northwestern
17 - Wisconsin
10 - Iowa
6 - Indiana
20 - Penn State
23 - Michigan State
13 - Purdue
106 - total

8. Don't believe me then
I don't care, I wasn't intentionally trying to do anything. Every article I find interesting I post 4 or 5 paragraphs from the top of the page and give a link.

9. C'mon Vermont. All Buckeye players are choirboys
Not one would do anything wrong. Not one. Ask Maurice.

10. Heroic actions or not...
...and that is plenty dubious, according to the story, what were the players doing out at 4 a.m. the week before a big game? Tressel should take disciplinary action for that alone and, I think he will, he is a far better disciplinarian than his predecessor.

Maybe they can watch the game with that guy who included watching the game in his plea bargain for forgery...

Go Blue!
