6. Nope...
I'm only 28 and I live in a town where 15% of the population goes to the University. So, I tend to hang out with girls that are 18-24. I wouldn't mind a older woman, I just don't run into them around this part of town.

7. When I was 25 or so, I dated a woman who was 35-36...
Made me appreciate the women with more ticks on the age clock. I say that because age is just a number.

When I was 32, I dated a 34 year old...she reminded me why.

17. I'm 39 on Friday...
and, I've been married for 4 years and a few days now.

However, in my 20s and until I was 34, I dated women that were anywhere from 15 years younger than me to 5 years older than me (yes, I dated a few around 19-20 when I was 33-34!) I didn't think age was a big deal most of the time... though, after my divorce from my first wife, I kind of realized that nothing serious would happen with those college women I was dating soon after.

twice. One was a mere year and two days older and she seemed kinda freaked about the age difference. In the other case I was 28 and I never have found out how old she was. Maybe 35, maybe younger, maybe older, but certainly older than 28.

34. I went to work for her that summer
A teenage kid so far from home
She was a lonely widow woman
Hell-bent to make it on her own
We were a thousand miles from nowhere
Wheat fields as far as I could see
Both needing something from each other
Not knowing yet what that might be.

’til she came to me one evening
Hot cup of coffee and a smile
In a dress that I was certain
She hadn’t worn in quite a while
There was a difference in her laughter
There was a softness in her eyes
And on the air there was a hunger
Even a boy could recognize.

She had a need to feel the thunder
To chase the lightning from the sky
To watch a storm with all it’s wonder
Written in her lover’s eyes
She had to ride the heat of passion
Like a comet burning bright
Rushing headlong in the wind
Now where only dreams have been
Burning both ends of the night.

That summer wind was all around me
Nothing between us but the night
When I told her that I’d never
She softly whispered that’s alright
And then I watched her hands of leather
Turn to velvet in a touch
There’s never been a summer
When I have ever learned so much.

We had a need to feel the thunder
To chase the lightning from the sky
To watch a storm with all it’s wonder
Written in her lover’s eyes
She had to ride the heat of passion
Like a comet burning bright
Rushing headlong in the wind
Now where only dreams have been
Burning both ends of the night.

I often think about that summer
The sweat, the moonlight and the lace
And I have rarely held another
When I haven’t seen her face
And every time I pass a wheat field
And watch it dancing with the wind
Although I know it isn’t real
I swear inside I feel
Her hungry arms again.

She had a need to feel the thunder
To chase the lightning from the sky
To watch a storm with all it’s wonder
Written in her lover’s eyes
She had to ride the heat of passion
Like a comet burning bright
Rushing headlong in the wind
Now where only dreams have been
Burning both ends of the night.

Rushing in long in the wind
Now where only dreams have been
Burnin’ both ends of the night

36. Wife is seven years older
Met her when I was 23. Love her to death. I'm 31 now.

The only downside I've noticed in the five years we've been married is now that we are older, she is a hell of lot more clumsy than I am. Since this doesn't really affect me at all, it's not a problem.

You can bet I appreciated her "practice" when I met her.

But really, is there a rule somewhere that says women have to start tripping over everything when they turn 35? I'm hoping the same rule doesn't apply to men :)

But since I'm always the gentleman, I always pick her up. Ten years ago I would have run for the video camera to make a clip for "America's Funniest Home Videos". This proves that older women can make a man out of a boy. At least sometimes.

/so going to hell
//so love my wife
///age isn't usually an issue once you're past a certain one.

I took a spell of tripping over small pebbles and anything larger when I was about that age. Now I have no trouble keeping myself upright.

I dated a 23 year old swedish aerobics instructor, she lived 2 blocks from the high school.

She eventually dumped me once she got to thinking all I cared about was sex, which I did, I was 17.

On Avg, maybe 8 years older. Once I dated younger, once. Didn't seem to have much in common with my peer group. Older women are positively delightful!

Better half is 5 years my senior, 18 years and going strong.

I'll never regret having such good teachers. :P I am forever indebted. O8)

42. Yes, but I was so much older then I'm younger than that now
So I date younger woman now.

Crimson flames tied through my ears
Rollin' high and mighty traps
Pounced with fire on flaming roads
Using ideas as my maps
"We'll meet on edges, soon," said I
Proud 'neath heated brow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

Half-wracked prejudice leaped forth
"Rip down all hate," I screamed
Lies that life is black and white
Spoke from my skull. I dreamed
Romantic facts of musketeers
Foundationed deep, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

Girls' faces formed the forward path
From phony jealousy
To memorizing politics
Of ancient history
Flung down by corpse evangelists
Unthought of, though, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

A self-ordained professor's tongue
Too serious to fool
Spouted out that liberty
Is just equality in school
"Equality," I spoke the word
As if a wedding vow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand
At the mongrel dogs who teach
Fearing not that I'd become my enemy
In the instant that I preach
My pathway led by confusion boats
Mutiny from stern to bow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.

Yes, my guard stood hard when abstract threats
Too noble to neglect
Deceived me into thinking
I had something to protect
Good and bad, I define these terms
Quite clear, no doubt, somehow.
Ah, but I was so much older then,
I'm younger than that now.
