My cat had to be put to sleep today

My cat had to be put to sleep today
She's had a mouth infection for a few months, and she was getting antibiotics for it, but in the last week she just stopped eating. I took her to the vet today, and she was 3.4 pounds (she's usually 4.5) and she had a temperature of 94 degrees.

I talked to the vet and he agreed that it was time.

RIP, Koshie

You saved her from any further suffering, and that was a huge favor you did for Koshie. She was a beauty.

hear that you had to put her to sleep. but at least you had the chance to say goodbye. both of my cats died suddenly (one while i was at work and she was at the vet) so cherise the fact that you got to say goodbye to her and eased her pain.

She's at peace and you're in pain. I'd like to say that you will get over this but I'm not that stupid. I have found that some people are able to just forget and move on. I find myself with nothing in common with them, and I move on.

You have my condolences. We had to put our kitty down last month and it absolutely devastated us.

Time doesn't really make it any better, but pictures do. We took a lot of photos.
