Mission: Impossible TV series.....

Was I the only one who thought, when the tape with the assignment played at the beginning of the show, that when they said, "...If you are caught, the secretary will disavow all knowledge of your actions", the "secretary" referred to was an office-lady-secretary, like Darren Stevens might have, and not a government Department Secretary. I didn't sort this out until I was in my mid twenties. I always imagined that some woman (the secretary) would answer the phone, and, upon inquiries about Phelps, say, "Oh, we don't know anything about him. Sorry."

4. I thought engineers worked in trains for years.

I used to secretly go "yeah, you GO to school to be an engineer....FREAK!"

I wasn't very nice! That's probably why I'm so poor and all those freakish engineers are making the big bucks.

5. I remember thinking, when people said their dad was an engineer,

that he must either work for the railroad, or the fire department.
