I dated and married an alien
I thought she was good genetic material and the
process has proved it. (two great earthlings)
However

we all Now feel like "strangers in a strange land"

The divorce was cosmic,
the pain was earth shattering,
the lesson was universal.

Damn Danes..

1. My dear IChing.....
I'm glad to see you tonight...

It has been awhile indeed...how are you doing?

I'm sorry about the breakup of your marriage, my dear......

I can believe it about the pain......

Losing your dream is very hard indeed, in my experience......

4. Hey that was a copy cat thread and old history.
no pain no gain, we learn we live we survive.

I am OK, my lawsuit with the fire since he is getting out in Feb. is progressing
my place is still not finished, but alas, that is another story. Arson is a bitch
and that fire has not diminished my quest for justice.

5. Actually
The chart was cosmic, I do know about charts quite a bit, and mine evolved past hers.
Love not loss, love gained through loss.
If you can understand that.

it started as a copycat thread, but a truthful one

actually, I was the alien.
:) :tinfoilhat:

6. Ooohh..."Strangers in a strange land". What a great song by....
...Leon Russell...and apropos to your post....

How many days has it been
Since I was born
How many days until I die
Do I know any ways
That I can make you laugh
Or do I only know how to make you cry

When the baby looks around him
It's such a sight to see
He shares a simple secret
With the wise man

He's a stranger in a strange land
Just a stranger in a strange land
Tell me why
He's a stranger in a strange land
Just a stranger in a strange land

How many miles will it take
To see the sun
And how many years until it's done
Kiss my confusion away in the night
Lay by side when the morning comes

And the baby looks around him
And shares his bed of hay
With the burrow in the palace of the king

He's a stranger in a strange land
Tell me why
He's a stranger in a strange land
Just a stranger in a strange land

Well, I don't exactly know
What's going on in the world today
Don't know what there is to say
About the way the people are treating
Each other, not like brothers

Leaders take us far away from ecology
With mythology and astrology
Has got some words to say
About the way we live today
Why can't we learn to love each other
It's time to turn a new face
To the whole world wide human race

Stop the money chase
Lay back, relax
Get back on the human track
Stop racing toward oblivion
Oh, such a sad, sad state we're in
And that's a thing

Do you recognize the bells of truth
When you hear them ring
Won't you stop and listen
To the children sing
Won't you come on and sing it children

He's a stranger in a strange land
Just a stranger in a strange land

"Stranger in a strange land"

Was many years ago that I left home and came this way
I was a young man full of hopes and dreams
But now it seems that all is lost and nothing gained
Sometimes things ain't what they seem
No brave new world no brave new world

Night and day I scan horizon sea and sky
My spirit wanders endlessly
Until the day will dawn and friends from home discover why
Hear me calling rescue me
Set me free, set me free
Lost in this place and leave no trace

Stranger in a strange land
Land of ice and snow
Trapped inside this prison
Lost and far from home

One hundred years have gone and men again they come that way
To find the answer to the mistery
They found his body lying where if fell that day
Preserved in time for all to see
No brave new world no brave new world
Lost in this place to leave no trace

What became off men that started
All are gone and souls departed
Left me here in this prison
So all alone

11. I didn't care for them when they came out at the time, but I was a sci-fi
fan, so I went to see them in concert back in the mid 80s - I enjoyed the show. Eventhough I quit playing electric guitar many years ago to study classical guitar, I appreciate them now more than ever.
