Good Wednesday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Well, here we are at the last day of November 2005! I hope all of you have had a good night! I'm doing fine...still trying to wake up *YAWN* I'm off work today, by the way!:woohoo: But, I DO have some errands to run later this afternoon. Do any of you have any big plans?

1. Happy Hump Day!
My biggest plan of the day is to drop off some papers at my bank and exchange the wrong printer ink at Staples.

Then stack some firewood (maybe)

3. Morning, Miss Joan!
:hi::hug:
One of the errands I have to run is to go to BestBuy to get toner for MY printer. Staples doesn't carry it so I have to drive across town to get it. x(

What are you doing stacking firewood? Don't you have someone who can do that for you?

10. When I made a special trip into Staples, I took the model number ...
They matched it up with the wrong cartridges. Today I'll take the HP owners manual with me.

The firewood is the same deal as everything else around here. The other 1/2 of MINO wants to throw a tarp over 3 cords of wood. I won't live that way. Remember the leak on the roof.:shrug: There is a reason why I'm MINO. Two nights ago I had to move the refrigerator at midnight after my MINO and I noticed a problem with the ice maker and he went back to bed.

Let Joani do it.

59. It's my own damn fault!
I'm a Virgo. We like things just so. If it isn't done right - I'll do it myself. Then I get pissed-off about doing everything myself.
I have two divorces and few live-in relationships that ended for the same reason.

I'll stay single in the future if I ever kick my MINO to the curb. It's easier on the male population.

42. We never chastise him for his oopsies
He's 14 years old, and half the time he does it because he has some illness or another. Fortunately he does it only on the basement futon, which we have a plastic cover over. Therefore it's not a significant issue. We just pick up the poo, flush it, then wipe down the plastic.

I'm only just onto DU myself - the connexion to the internets has been down until just now at work.

Hope that you have a wonderful day off - at university I always used to get today of, it being St. Andrew's day, and I attending St. Andrews University located in the city of St. Andrews in Scotland (patron Saint being St. Andrew).

No big plans other than drinking lots of tea, making an occasional nod in the direction of work, and a slight over-run on lunch. (Bad T.J.)

I hate it when my internet connection is down! It rarely happens with cable high speed, but when it does, it usually is BIG and I mean half of the country!

Other than running a few of the errands I have no big plans either. As far as I'm concerned, running a little over on lunch is perfectly fine once in a while. Now if you did it ALL the time, that would be another matter altogether! Then, I'd have to :spank: you! :rofl:

but it was ridiculously slow! I just don't understand it! It is NEVER this way during the holidays. It isn't just my store either...ALL of the stores in our district are having the same problems. Our district manager is pulling her hair out! :rofl:

I spoke to some of my buds from TRU and they said it was pretty slow, too. None of the craziness of years past. They said the register lines didn't even go past the FOH, when usually they stretch around to the back of the store on Black Friday. Looks like WalMart was the only busy store. :crazy: Retailers dire predictions for this season could be coming true.

43. Well, I know it sucks for US...
It think everyone is looking for stuff that's nearly free. Wal-Mart having laptops for $300 and such. They know we can't do that at my store so they are all going there. :shrug:

45. Ugh. Do you guys do price matching?
TRU usually does, but not on Black Friday. That is a source of much anger for customers. :yoiks:

51. Nope, we don't.
But we don't have any competitors who sell the same stuff as we do, so pricematching isn't an issue.

:donut: :hi:

I'm just sipping the last of my delicious banana-tangerine-papaya smoothie. My "big" plans today include scooping the kitty box, swiffering the floors, and cleaning out another file drawer. I shredded 3 bags full of papers last night and am in a shredding mood.
