Rolling Stones To Perform At Super Bowl :ROLLSEYES:
:eyes:

<snip>

From Fenway to football, the Rolling Stones are doing it all on this tour. The NFL announced yesterday the Stones will perform during the Super Bowl halftime show Feb. 5 at Ford Field in Detroit. ''We are thrilled to perform for millions of fans at one of the most exciting and highly anticipated sporting events of the year," Mick Jagger and the boys said in a statement.

2. I heard this on KO last night imo they topped with Elton John.
Outside of the commercials i haven't been impressed with the half time show in the last couple years. Save Elton.

6. I wish they'd just fuck off
They have enough goddamn money, Keith Richards can sponsor Viagra for more money if he wants it - although I'm not sure it was ever intended to be snorted.

4. Did you see Paul McCartney last year?
I thought it was very good.

I think the best halftime shows are the ones that stick to one performer/group.

7. ALL HALFTIME SHOWS FUCKING SUCK!!!!!
Shit, the Beavis and Butthead "Buttbowl" was 10x more entertaining than ANYTHING the NFL and FCC can collectively approve.

In fact, FUCK HALFTIME, make those spoilt multi-millionaires play a goddamn hour straight. Pussies.

9. Ironically, the very first Super Bowl --
Played 40 years ago -- was scheduled in the daytime instead of the evening because The Rolling Stones were going to be playing The Ed Sullivan Show that night.

Harold Frumpster (Abe Vigoda) is found strangled with a length of yellow yarn. Suspicion automatically falls on renowned knitter Stacy Clickysticks (Victoria Principal) and it's up to Jessica Fletcher to find the real killer while working on her new novel "The Knitting Needle Caper".
