I think Thomas Kinkade is an excellent painter.

It sounds to me like you don't care for his subject matter.

That doesn't make him a bad painter.

Yes, he is a very, very bad painter.

So bad, it hurts.

You know, back when I was working on my undergraduate degree in fine art, if my classmates or I saw a work of art by a well known, successful artist, and we couldn't really appreciate it... we would pretty much presume that the problem was our lack of education rather than the well known, successful artist's lack of talent.
