Evolution is alive and well

and my cat is too smart for her own good. I keep an endtable next to the door of my apartment. My cat, the clever devil she is, has been crying for awhile that she wants out of the apartment. Well, I'm not going to oblige her, because there are workers in the hallway. So, I look over, and she's up on her back paws with her front paws on the doorknob, trying to twist it. Damn cat.
