1. and I wouldn't want to miss the experience for anything
Sorry. It may suck ass at times, and hurt like hell some others, but when it's good, it's amazing, and even if it's just for a short while, 2 weeks maybe, I wouldn't pass up the experience for anything.

I refused to be closed off to life's Ecstacy or Pain. I can't live that way any longer, because that's not truly living...

2. Exactly, RL!
I can't be closed off to it either. I don't like the "hurt like hell" part very much, but the alternative -- stullifying boredom -- would be even harder to bear! I want to live, not get "get through"!

are what I live for.
Fortunately, they happen several times per day. :woohoo:

5. Sanity and reason are highly overrated.
At least, in my world they are.

7. It and its aftemath can sure screw things up for a long, long time
Sometimes even if you don't let it.

Not sure it's worth it. But maybe that'll change next time I'm insane, under the influence of it.

8. Most humans I've met have a pretty tenuous grasp on sanity & reason
To begin with. At least love inspires them to new levels of lunacy.

13. I feel sane enough
but maybe I've cracked and I don't know it? If so, it's a neat feeling.

14. in the words of Barbara Streisand:
We do it because it feels so fucking great while it's happening.
and ain't that the truth. of course, if you have a willing partner, you could try to make it last forever. aw, did i just step into my romantic and cheesy side? think i did. but, that's what love does to you . . .

15. Certainly being in love is a breach of sanity and reason......
But as for being better off without that....NEVER!

We need to be in love, to be insane with it, to feel its excesses and joys and privations.......

It is then that you are truly alive, in all your senses.....

Who would want to merely exist? Not ME!

Give me passion, grief, lust, and so on......

Then I know I'm alive...and so is the one I love......

Life is waaaay too short to live without love....Believe me, I know...

:woohoo: :woohoo:
