Actress Wendie Jo Sperber of TV's 'Bosom Buddies' dies at 46

(11-30) 17:48 PST Los Angeles (AP) --


Actress and cancer care activist Wendie Jo Sperber, who starred opposite Tom Hanks on TV's "Bosom Buddies," has died. She was 46.


Sperber died at home Tuesday after an eight-year battle with breast cancer, publicist Jo-Ann Geffen said Wednesday.


A Los Angeles native, Sperber appeared in dozens of television shows and movies, including all three "Back to the Future" films.

That is so young. It would be nice if they would come out and tell people what is causing these types of cancer. And it's not cigarettes people.

The beef industry is huge though. If the energy was put into speaking out against that as much as they do tobacco, millions of lives could last a bit longer.

8. A few sources, including IMDB, have her birthdate as Sept 1962...
that would make her only 43. AP lists her as having been 46. I wonder who is right.
