Anybody else having Thanksgiving lunch at work today?
We are. I can smell all the food, as our large conference room is right across the hall from my office. Smells yummy.

But, I'll have to work out extra hard at the gym to counteract the caloric overload from the desserts. :9

they had the Thanksgiving blowout at work yesterday but I'm off work because of endoscopic sinus surgery. Now get this - when I woke up from the anesthesia, the nurse asked me how many fingers he was holding up (three), what day of the week is it (Wednesday) and who is president (Al Gore but that f***wit Bush occupies the White House). He laughed very loud and yelled OH SHE'S JUST *FINE* !!!!! :D

5. I'll bad bad today...we have some good bakers here.
I avoided the Krispy Kremes that someone brought earlier this week, but they didn't put them right outside my office. The mail boxes and a common area is right outside my door, so people put their food they want to get rid of there. Damned tempters!

10. I've been really good this week...
so I figured I deserved to be a little bit bad. Just gotta make up for it in the gym today and over the weekend. Can't skip tomorrow just because of the concert and my parents being in town - gotta get up early and just do it.

15. The way I figure it...
if there's one day in the year when you should be able to eat til you think you're gonna explode and just not worry about it - it's Thanksgiving. I'm gonna eat pecan pie and homemade mashed potatoes and not feel the least bit guilty about it.

9. Yesterday here...
And did I ever indulge: The usual whole turkey AND a ham with all the fixins like cornbread dressing, giblet gravy, skillet fried cream corn, garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, mac & cheese, gardern variety of salads, etc., along with fudge pie (a lttle goes a long way), pecan cake - not pie mind you -, more fudge candy and topped off with a heapin' helpin' bowl of banana pudding. Can you say "What's for supper grandpa?"
