Minor panty hose vent
OK, sometimes I have to wear the damn things for work. I don't mind them as much as many women do -- they're not particularly uncomfortable, they're just there.

But why do the stores believe that short women only want "suntan taupe" (and the occasional "off-black") and only in reinforced toe?

In every other size, there's black, jet black, black mist (whatever that is), nude, white, navy, and so forth. There also are multi-packs. There's a choice between control top, sheer-to-waist, sandalfoot, etc. All of these choices are available in sizes B, C and D (or whatever each brand designates as average, tall and plus). At 5'2", I wear an A.

But even in big stores that have acres of racks, there are generally one or two types of pantyhose in the smaller sizes. And not in any color I want to wear.

Sigh.

1. Why do they only put vents in the pantyhose made for minors?
Seems like they should all have them.

And where is this store with acres of racks? It's gotta be Southern California, because they can't all be real at that size.

2. I'm 5'11" and they don't fit me either
Thank GOD I don't have to wear them to work day-to-day - I wear skirts with boots, or wear pants and blazers all winter, and don't go back to dresses/skirts again until it's warm enough to go without pantyhose. The crotch floats around my knees, and the "Queen" sizes don't give a lot of extra height.

I'm not kidding - this very morning I was seriously considering googling "transvestite clothing" and seeing if I could find out where trannys buy their pantyhose.

We had a friend who does a lot of drag shows, but he's shorter than I am, so he can probably wear pantyhose off the rack - no help there (there's my life for you - I'm a total corporate suit, but my S.O. is an actor and has tranny friends.....)

3. Buy tights instead
All your size (since they're largely 'one-size-fits-all') AND fashion problems...*poof*!

;)
