EZ-Pass in New York (rant)
Edited on Thu Dec-01-05 11:13 AM by malta blue
Does anyone have this service?

I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and to Atty. General Elliot Spitzer.

They apparently deactivated my tag in July for failure to pay. Now, I have a credit card on file with them, and the card had expired. My bad, I did not contact them with new information, however, they have my email address and they have always, in the past, emailed me when they charged my account. I never received a single notice from them that my account was in jeopardy.

I went to NYC a couple of weeks ago and the "call EZ-Pass" light came on when I went through the toll.

I contacted them, and they told me that I had to do the following:

1. Mail the pass to one address.

2. Mail a check (my credit is no good with them anymore) to another address.

3. Mail a letter to a third address requesting another EZ-Pass.

When I asked why I had to mail the actual pass to them, they told me it was inactive. I asked them to reactivate it. They said they can't do that. They need to physically recieve the old one and then issue a new one.

To top it all off, I requested a supervisor THREE times, and each time, the man told me "Listen lady, you owe us money. No one can help you with that."

And now I have atraffic violation for toll skipping.

:wtf: :grr: :grr:
