OK, I have some eggnog, rum, and vodka
what should I do? I'm being series - does one warm eggnog, and spike it with rum and some cinnamon or nutmeg?

1. I drink it cold (on ice)
w/ rum (actually, I use brandy but since you have rum that's fine) and sprinkle the nutmeg on it.

You know, I bet you could throw cinnamon and nutmeg in and it would be ok.

My aunt who is the family master chef makes hot buttered rum every year--my favorite because I'm not a huge nog fan. So I finally asked her how to make them last year. I thought it would be so involved and difficult.

Turns out, and I quote my aunt, "Oh you just heat up some water, put some Malibu in it, then throw in some nutmeg, cinnamon, whatever you want in, mix it up and plop a pat of butter on top. In fact, go try it out and make me one."

So, in conclusion, your drink will probably be fine and delicious.

Nice combo.

It goes down very easy, though, so it is also easy to drink too much.

But most certainly use the booze and spices.

I normally use Buorbon, but whatever gets you happy.
