We're basically Canada, anyway. And we're not as right-wing as you think. All three of our US congressmen that we elected are Democrats, and we've had Democratic governors for a majority of our history.

I haven't heard anything about Bob Goen in the papers here, so I'm assuming he's not in ND. Some guy (I forgot his name) is running as a Democrat against John Hoeven (moderate repub) next year. I really don't really mind Hoeven, but if I like the other guy enough, I'll vote for him.

Alaska provides the Democrats an outstanding chance to gain a Senate seat in 2004.
