A liberal organization that supports the troops in Iraq?
Even though all my relatives and friends are now home, I want to send a few Christmas care packages to the troops in Iraq. But I don't want to send it through some RW freeper nutjob organization. Anyone know of any nonideological, moderate or liberal organization supporting the troops?

1. I'm not positive, but I would think that Veterans for Peace would be...
a good place to try. (I'm not sure what you mean by nonideological though, so they might not fit your description.)

2. You can pick out a soldier yourself on anysoldier.com
There's no need to go through any organization. Just search for somebody whose needs speak to you in some way.

4. I send food to veg solders with info listed there.
I was just checking for addresses, I can afford to send one more box than I normally do this pay period and I need a new recipient.
