They're getting big - I've seen them on the TV a few times. Their last cd was huge!

7. Yeah, "GNFPWLBN" was platinum, wasn't it?

However, it sounds NOTHING like their earlier work. "The Lonely Crowded West" is truly a unique MM experience.

9. True...it's reminiscent of their earlier work, but different.

I saw MM at the 2004 Austin City Limits Festival on a main stage, so they're getting exposure. ;)

I picked up geogaddi on vinyl about a month ago. Some of the songs on that album make my skin crawl they're so good.

Get "Music has the Right to Children", you'll like it too, guaranteed.

Also, I'm particularly fond of the older EPs "Hi Scores" and "Twoism".

Their new release isn't bad either :)

Even though I like a lot of music and an odd combination of groups I don't really get too obscure. Some of the lesser-known groups that I like a lot are the Dambuilders, It's a Beautiful Day, and Orpheus.

When I tell people that Coheed and Cambria is my favorite band, most people have no idea who they are. They're one of the most underrated bands out there - musically diverse, talented, unclassifiable. On edit: the little symbol I've chosen as my avatar is the keywork, part of the Coheed logo.
