We had to get new glasses before the calendar year ran out (union plan..cheap cheap..)..
The guy we used to go to retired, so we had to find a new one.. He was like a kid in a candy store when he saw my "bad eye", but the good news is that my prescription for my good one has improved to 20-45..the bad one is 20-400 (what a hoot, eh?)..
I can;t wait to get my new glasses they are nifty as hell,, they come with a cute little sunglass thingie that has magnet and just swooshes into a little slot..
I'm sticking with the drug store reading glasses..
They had a new test for depth perception that I totally failed (gotta have 2 working eyes for that one), but overall, I am relieved..
Cataract surgery on my bad eye will probably be in Feb, so I may end up with a little vision in it.. The iris is "tangled" up with the cornea, so it's dicey..but I am willing to try to get some vision back :) Got nothing to lose, since I can't see with it NOW :)
