Don't make me go out there!

I have no idea what I'm shopping for, and I can't stand being in holiday crowds.

Oh, man, I'd rather go get a root canal!

1. And on a Saturday!
Can't you shop online for what you need? I hate it, too. You feel like you're just sort of milling about with your eyes glazing over, wandering around looking for something to jump out at you, all the while being buffeted by the mobs.

 I'm so sorry!

6. Oh, man...that's my problem!
I always end up finding things that I want, and buy them for myself.

Hell, I know what I want, I just don't know what my family wants. Plus, they have everything they need.

:hi:

10. Consider it done!
I'll ship everything out to you on Monday!

Thanks, you're the best! :pals:

Oh, and why don't you buy yourself somethin' real pretty while you're out. Just put it on my tab. Anything your little heart desires.

4. I may be able to do some online
The problem is that I am in Oregon and all of my relatives are in Colorado and New Mexico. So, in order to have time to wrap things here and then ship to there, I've got to get my ass in gear.

Plus, I really like to get good, personal gifts for my family.

I'll heed your advice and try not to go out.

:hi:

2. Wait until you have some idea of what you want...
because you're going to get aggravated, with the parking and the nonsense.

I'm not doing any Christmas shopping until the 23rd. :scared:

5. Chia pets.
seriously... if people (i.e. my family) don't give me a list by the beginning of December? Chia pets. I'm very proud of my shopping skills... best time? 13 minutes from in the door to out. Why? Chia pets. That taught them. heeee.

8. There's such a variety of Chia products to choose from today!
How could one go wrong? Just select the most appropriate figure for each person on your list, and there you have it.

Brilliant!

14. I've heard rumours
that Chia pets now come with herbal seeds. So, you can grow basil and thyme etc. If true, that would be cool!

15. Chia Herb Garden...
http://www.chia.com/herbgarden.html

Not really like a chia pet.

More like a bunch of terra cotta pots with herbs growing in them.

Meh...

16. That sucks the big one
I want the value added "Pet". Otherwise, it's just gardening.

11. I feel your pain
One word: Plastics.

Gift cards are my salvation.

I get my kids one nice gift each to open on Christmas day (besides all the goodies in their stockings), and the rest is in gift cards. They love them because they shop the after Christmas sales and get even more bang for the buck, and they can get exactly what they want/need in whatever style/size without all the pain of returns.

All they need to do is tell me what stores they would shop at, and away I go.

12. How about a donation to a charity
in honor of your relative or friend. Charities always send acknowledgments to honorees.

13. Did Heifer International a bit last year.
Bought someone in a third world country some livestock in my parents' names. They liked that, so I may do some of that again.
