Does anyone else love old Rankin/Bass holiday shows?
OK, they are very kitschy, but I for one love watching those old holiday stop-motion movies like Rudolph and Nester (a load of religious imagery in them but oh well)

1. I love those old shows.
Grew up on 'em, and still watch them every year.

2. They never did a Frosty though did they?
Frosty the Snowman was a cartoon, maybe from the same company? Couldn't help but love the big lug.

5. Frosty was a Rankin-Bass cartoon.
My Dad used to hate that show, but I always loved watching it. Man, those were good times.

Loved the classic closing logo, too. Still sends chills up my spine.

6. Just ADORE them!!!
So happy they are now on video/dvd and I can see them whenever I want. For a few years it seemed they didn't want to air them on television anymore--when I was growing up they showed them EVERY single year, same time of year, without fail.

It's nice to see that they are showing them on tv again. I really missed them!

9. Rudolph especially touches me.
I like the whole misfits theme in that one. I love all of them pretty much. A rare one, for me for some odd reason, to get to see has something to do with the baby new year. I love that one, but never seem to catch it.

12. Apparently the ABC Family channel
is airing them all all this month.

I can't wait to hear "I'm Mr. Green Christmas..."
