Arnold gets buck wild in Rio (in his younger days-see video)

Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this this short travel log of the night life of Rio de Janeiro during the annual Carnival.

Arnold spends some time ogling and groping beautiful models in the Club Oba Oba, as well as uncomfortably sucking carrots with a woman at a local restaurant.

My wife and I got a lot of laughs out of it. There is one scene in which Arnold is obviously and ineptly putting the moves on this cute blond woman. In a later scene, the blond woman reappears, but with her boyfriend--a scrappy looking, stone-faced Latino man who says nothing the whole time. Since there is absolutely no reason for the boyfriend to be there, it's pretty clear that he DEMANDED to be there. He keeps looking at Arnold as if he seriously plans to knife him if he lays a hand on his woman. Arnold looks sheepish and even a little frightened.

I have since heard a rumor that Arnold himself has bought up all copies of this video that he can get his hands on. I believe this is true, because I had never seen it in a video store before and have never seen it since.

LOL! I would've demanded my money back. However, it was good for a laugh.

As I recall, it was on the "discounted rental" shelf--$1.99. It was well worth it.

My wife estimated that it was shot sometime in the mid 80s, just before Terminator and before Arnold got hitched. Evidently there were a few years in there where he was in the doghouse with Maria and sort of on the skids careerwise.
