1. Depends which forum
For example, on FrustrationDating.com, it's pretty common.

2. Just a note about that badger thing.....
My kid and I watched it for around five minutes.

Nuts.

3. It happens all the time.
It sucks when you get along so well and then poof they're gone!

Vanished!

Kaput!

4. Considering the law of averages, pretty common I'd guess.
If this happens over and over again, then that's kind of weird--but it's a flukey thing I'd think, considering how many people are probably on that site.

Um, I think.

I think you're brave to try online dating. Too weird for me, although a friend of mine met her husband that way.

I won't explain why.

7. I do it sometimes on match.com
Usually I'll "wink" based on glancing at the profile. When they wink back, sometimes I see something I don't like at all and just don't bother responding anymore.

9. Some folk are playing games
Probably even happily attached and are in it for some safe flirting (or they're just bastards with a cruelty streak). And from my experience, there are folk who have a whole fantasy scenario built up. The moment you stray from the script, you're dropped. Which might be better for yourself in the long run.

The big outfits like match.com, yahoo, americansingles.com and lavalife are crooked. Match is even being sued right now. I'm not sure about Nerve, especially with their new system. I've got free credits for posting photos, so I'm not losing anything. OKcupid (gratis) is fun just for taking the tests.

10. it happens, try not to sweat it...if they are TRULY interested in
YOU, they will take it to the next level...by suggesting that they call you and then you can go from there.
