The scene with the stripper with the tassle talents was so risque for it's time, I felt like I was such a grown up when my mom let me watch that movie.

And I adore Rosalind Russell.


Her version of Auntie Mame is one of the greatest movies ever!

27. I had a collection of all the videos of movies like Gypsy
and Auntie Mame. I would record the movies when they aired on AMC and have them for the days I needed them, you know, those days when you need to laugh or cry or just remember. Hell, I even had "A Trouble with Angels", a postively outrageous movie that reminded me of my elementary education at the hands of the mystic nuns. (They did not walk, they floated and their habits had secret compartments that housed dodge balls and rosaries the size of a garden hose, bells and rulers. :scared: )

I guess I will just begin again. :hi:
