to show how nonconformist and anti-establishment we are, and then when someone is offended and complains, we can scowl at them for being too PC.

I missed all the '60s bra burnings...being a toddler, I probably would have seen it as more of a dietary opportunity, anyway.

My curse is that, anticipating fighting a rearguard action (so to speak) in the great Sexual Revolution, I finally entered (so to speak) the fray right after Rock Hudson died and genitalia worldwide went into reclusive, monastic hiding for ten years. :-(
