I opened the door on my birds cage
They aren't used to being out so I opened the door and they just both flew out. They are freaking out right now..lol. I hope they don't hurt themselves.

Chuck and Charlene is their names.

1. Cute!
My sister has birds. One used to fly around the house and whistle the tune to a TV show (I can't remember the name of it now). It was very funny. When ever we wanted it to come to us, we just started singing that song and it would land on our shoulders and join in!

2. I just put them back
Chuck looks like he hurt his foot. He ended up landing in my garbage can. My last bird Vinnie, liked to be out and hang around, but he passed away a few years ago. These two aren't used to it.

3. We had a cockatiel.
He would strafe my head. Then he'd perch on it and crap in my hair. Hint: let it dry first. It comes out easier that way.

4. you may have a Chuck and CharLIE
the grey is a male but the albino has a pretty good cheek patch a least to me in that pic - any other cockatiel afficionados agree?

5. Well
I thought they were both males when I got them. Chuck did a lot of humping on Charlene and I figured it must be a she. I could be wrong of course but Charlene seems to have a lot of female characteristics.

10. African Greys are wonderful.
But very tricky. They do very well in a stable environment.

I've lived with a grey since the Fall of 2002. This bird is amazing!
He's thriving even here. He can speak 518 words.

12. Wow, that's a lot of words
Chuck does the wolf call and that's it..lol. They weren't handfed and I got them because I felt bad for them being in the store like they were. Once I get back on my feet financially I am going to look into getting me another feathered friend, but handfed this time. Maybe he/she will inspire my two little guys here..lol.

11. Thanks Bertha
I like them a lot but they aren't the type you can love all over. I come across as pretty much a dick but if I could I would have 100 animals in this house. I really would love to have a few more cats and a shitz-oo (sp?)..lol.
