When you eat popcorn at home, how do you prepare it?

1. here's how i make popcorn - anyone else do it this way?
i cover the bottom of a lunch sack ("brown bag") with kernels, maybe 2 layers of kernels. fold the top tightly, but not too far down. lay it on its side in the microwave. turn it on for 3 minutes and wait until the pops slow down. soon as they slow down, i turn it off. pour the kernels into the bag, melt some butter & pour it over, salt . . . mmmmm, popcorn

what's REALLY tasty is if i melt the butter quickly enough so that it sizzles when i pour it over the corn . . . the places where it sizzles become super crunchy & tasty.

yum!

6. I've succumbed to the siren song of the microwavable popcorn.
It's just so easy and tasty.

Also, as an aside, if you like to buy pre-made popcorn, Vic's makes a low-fat white cheddar popcorn that must be laced with crack. It's SO good.

8. The best popcorn
by far is when it's made in a pan on top of the stove. Then smoother it with melted butter and a touch of salt. Oh, and use organic kernels, they are the best.
