8. I interpret it as "past its prime".

It could be religious underwear (holier than thou), stained with you-know-what, or just completely tatty.

I'm afraid I don't have any decent underwear anymore. Maybe I have some good stuff for Christmas (erm I mean the National Holiday).

Although A-list for different occasions.

Comfortable boxer-briefs for just ordinairy days.

Crisp white jockeys for certain dates.

Those that are slightly worn to make them easier to rip off for other dates.

Silk boxers, just for once in a while. On special occasions.

But I keep them all in the same drawer because I'm clever enought to figure out what is appropriate at the time.
