How many restrictive diet will be accomodated at your Thanksgiving
Every Thanksgiving we get more and more dietary restrictions to accomodate. So's heres my list, what will happen at yours?

Vegetarian

No-fat and I do mean no fat. You have to sneak the oil or butter into the recipe.

Low-carbohydrate.

No red wine in any recipe and that includes some vineagars. (might die if you mess this one up)

Not too many onions or garlic

Folks who only like spicy foods.

Diabetic

Someone allergic to poultry.

I swear, I'm not making this up.

1. Wow. How many people are you hosting?
I am going to a restaurant with my sister and my S.O.. So no complications for us. :-)

2. We have one diabetic and one person that doesn't like celery
we leave a small portion of stuffing aside without celery and the diabetic manages herself rather well...beyond that we make so much food that really any diet can be accomodated.

3. My sister is hosting
and we're having 20. I do Christmas. We sortof go by lots of food strategy and let folks fend for myself. My dad is the no-fat guy so he gets a little more attention to it since he is the oldest.

4. Vegetarian
but since all of us at dinner will be vegetarian, it's not a problem.

I would suggest in your case having a pot luck. Fortunately at thanksgiving there are usually so many dishes that there should be enough for everyone. It would be helpful to ask anyone who brings a dish to label everything with ingredients.
