I saw the coolest way to put Christmas lights on a Palm tree.
At a resort on the way home from work, they put the white lights up the tree trunk about 40' then added a dim red light that lights up the trunk above the white lights. In the dark they look like giant candles. Very cool looking in a grove.
So all you tropical Christmas decorators, you finally have a non-lame way to do the palm trees.
