Good Tuesday Morning, Everybody!

I hope all of you had a good day yesterday even though it was a Monday! It was a rather long day for me. Monday's are like that sometimes, you know. It just keeps dragging on like it has no desire to end, and one keeps looking at one's watch to see if any time at all has passed since the last time it was checked. :rofl:

My trip to see the inlaws over Thanksgiving week went well. But it spoiled me weather-wise. SoCal weather is far milder than Minnesota weather this time of year. We are currently below zero.

See now...this is another reason I love living down here in Florida. ;) I got so tired of snow, ice and freezing ass cold during the winter that when we had the chance to move, I jumped at it!

a whole week without DU and you ... it's going to be hard.

I will spend Christmas with my grandma and the family that is up there (aunt, uncle, cousin, brother ...). My mom won't be there. She and her bf are going to Southern France over the holidays.

Hope that all's well with you. Over here the Bach marathon continues - we're onto his Passacaglia in c minor now (C.D. 8 of 20). But on the down side - several other people in the office have been being petty b******s which has messed up things for the folk I work with, so we're all getting somewhat grumpy and very very bitchy in here - but seeing you (so damn early as well) definitely cheers me up :hug: :loveya:

28. Bach is very relaxing
Especially organ stuff i.m.o. - the counterpoint also helps my mind focus on work, which is good. But seeing Clint - well that has all sorts of good effects round here :evilgrin: :bounce:


It's just small-mindedness and petty behaviour. I really don't understand it - and it's all intra-company as well, all because he's in a different business unit he can't do a simple favour taking under 10 minutes. :nuke:

33. I have heard of them - but wouldn't have any idea what they sound like.
I just hope that you've heard of Bach - he is the greatest musician ever after all, and invented the entire key structure on which the vast majority of music following him was based (including pretty much all of popular music).

I'm also on to the second tea of the day, which is very cheering as always.

It was said in jest - everybody should be exposed to Bach because he was such a complete giant of musical development (not least because of the "well tempered" system).

You know what you like - and you listen to it. That's my definition of ideal.

I'm downing medicinal herbal teas, taking Dayquil and Nyquil, wearing numerous layers of clothing, and using every other trick in the book.


On a funny note, yesterday morning I was getting one of my clients (who has a mental age equivalency of about 3-4 years) up for the day. I didn't want to take her hand to assist her as I didn't want to transmit my cold to her. Therefore I held her by the shoulder and elbow, and I told her, "I'm not holding your hand because I have germs--I have cooties". She looks at me and says "You have kookies?"

I chuckled and replied "I guess you could say that too". :crazy:

That's a good one. On the opposite end of that sort of thing...

When I worked at OfficeMax, I was looking for a specific item and couldn't for the life of me find it. I went up to one of our associates who was always a cut-up and asked him if he knew where it was. He says with a straight face: "It's on the gay porn aisle." I said: "Thanks, Dude." Turned and headed towards aisle one...stopped in mid-stride, turned back to him and said: "No...wait..." :rofl:

Yup cold here too. -2 with a chill factor of -13, can't wait to go outside.
Your Monday went slow? Mine zoomed by and I suspect today will too. Lots to do at work, lots to do at home. Should keep me out of trouble for a while.

81. Well thats OK....I can show you...
Log into your account...on the right side of the page that comes up is a gray area that says "Add pictures". Leave the drop down menu that you see on "Submit Multiple Pictures" and click "Browse". That will bring up a window where you can search your hard drive for the pictures you want to upload.

Find the correct folder your pictures are contained in. If you just want to upload one picture, double click on it and then click "submit".

Try one and let me know if it worked.

84. the problem is that kodak easy share will not let me see the

picture...when I hit open it automatically puts the info in the line with out letting me see the pic....am not sure which pic I will be adding to my account???

89. Sorry for the delay...
When the window comes up for you to select which picture you want, you should see a little icon on the top right that looks like a mini window...click it and choose "Thumbnails". That way, all of the pictures in that folder will look show up as miniature versions. See if that works.

Well, we can see the floorplan and pictures online. But these are the blueprints for us to give to the builders. We haven't picked out the property yet. We're in love with the house and have a realtor finding property for us. I think things will go fast once they get going. :)

Is it raining up there today? We have a crappy day going on.

83. harleydad had to take the minivan to work.
Bummer. He got rained on when he came home yesterday -- didn't take his rain gear, so we have wet leather all over the house. Yuck.

Exciting, yes ... and a bit stressful. Scary, too! I wish I could snap my fingers and have it all done. The good thing is that we're getting a lot of cleaning out done. :)
