DU Moms and Dads!!! I confess! I love the magazine Family Fun.
My son and I spent the afternoon excercising together using some of the indoor excercise ideas from December's issue. They have great crafts. We also make homemade gifts for neighbors (usually edible) and they have five really great recipes in this month's issue. I wish I had thought of turning a bookcase into doll bunkbeds when my daughter was small. :hi:

2. My sister gave me a copy.
I did enjoy it. However, I won't do the crafts. I have enough trouble figuring out what to do w/ all the stuff my kids bring home from school:

Kid: "Mom! Why did you put my painting in the recycling!"
Me: "Well, because if I saved everything then we wouldn't be able to walk in our house."

7. They have a rotating refridgerator artwork book in November's issue.
;) I do the crafts because they keep James occupied when he is a little over enthusiastic...and then we send them to Grandma's house, or Uncle Jim's or Uncle Bob's, the list goes on.... :hi:

3. Hey, it's okay--I've been subscribing for about 10 years.

I've made some god-awesome Halloween costumes and some other cool stuff for school snacks, etc., that really wowed 'em. It's a good thing. I even save back issues.

10. With five kids, it's been a real life saver for me.

I love it. They always come up with new, creative stuff you don't see anywhere else. I 'generally' love the birthday party themes (although some of them are too much for me -- think cheerleader party -- my daughters would gag). But, I've used a couple of them for ideas. And the Halloween issues are usually too cool. We've also made the airplane valentines every year forever and the kids at school never fail to love them. (Two Lifesavers for wheels, stick of gum for wings, and a smartie for the airplane body and propeller all attached together with a rubber band.)
