My apologies....

It seems that at least one DUer took offense at my "Ann Coulter is so ugly" thread. By way of explanation, I was reacting to Coulter's inane assertion that blogs like DU advocate her rape. She dished out to us, and so I dished some back.

I try not to judge people based on appearance. I find Coulter "ugly on the inside." And, I dare say that in every person some "ugly" can be found on the inside--including myself.

To those offended by my post, I apologize. It won't happen again.

She IS ugly on the inside, and that makes her ugly on the outside as well. The same way inner beauty radiates into physical beauty, hatred and bitterness become physically unattractice.

Ann Coulter deserves whatever punishment she gets. She is by far one of the worst human beings I've ever seen.

I said this on another thread, but it bears repeating. Ann Coulter, Hannity and O'Reilly - the lot of them - are too far into the crazy to bother with. The only people who respond positively to them are also too far gone to be saved. So the question is, why do we keep getting outraged over and over again, when outraging us is their whole schtick? It only helps line their pockets further. They've staked out these exteme positions for the money they can earn! (The possible exception is Hannity, who I believe actually believes his own kaa-kaa).

Best thing is to forget about 'em and focus on J-Ho getting over that ankle injury. I just love that kid!

I don't think an apology is necessary. You did nothing wrong and several posters agreed with you and got the point of what you were saying. :hug: Don't worry!! If you started the same thread about Bush, no one would have been offended.
