1. A few days ago, I dreamed that my SO was an astronaut, and on the shuttle
with the wife of Rep. Mark Green (R-nutjob).

So, the Congressman and I bonded over missing our lost-in-space loved ones. Oh, and I was also employed as a high-school gym teacher.

I'm not sure which part of that dream was the weirdest.

3. That's obvious.
I don't think ANYONE is capable of bonding with Mark Green... unless you have a hefty bank account.

:hi:

2. The one that came true
Edited on Tue Dec-06-05 11:41 AM by skygazer
Years ago in the 70's when I was in high school, there was this guy I knew casually - he rode my bus and was in one of my classes but we weren't friends really, more acquaintances. One night I dreamed about him.

I dreamed I was walking through the woods and I came to a small cabin. The door was partly open and I went inside where I saw this guy. He was lying on a bed in there and he had been shot in the head and was dead.

I woke up in a cold sweat and glanced at the clock. It was about 3 am. The following day, a friend of mine whose parents were paramedics told me her parents had been called out because this guy we knew had been accidentally shot in the head at this cabin in the woods where he and some others were partying. Only difference is, he didn't die. It happened around 3 am.

True story.

edited for poor grammar

4. I was asked to join the Beastie Boys...
My wife and I are at a bar where the Beasties are playing. One of them (I don't own any of their stuff or know any of their names) asks me to join them because one of them is sick. I protest saying I don't know any of their songs, but he doesn't care and hands me a wireless microphone.

A close second in the dream race:

I am to play Yevgeny Kafelnikov in an important tennis match. The court is in what seems to be a large living room, and the net is held up by two standing lamps. Unfortunately, we never hit a ball as the dream ended before the first ball was struck.

5. I had a dream last week which said I was going to die on December 19...

:scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:

If dreams are an indication of what may happen, I'm screwed on December 19th.

It was unclear what year it would be, however.

If anyone could tell me what the dream meant, I'd greatly appreciate it! :hi:

6. Playing water volleyball with 2 sharks.
I slammed one down on one's nose. He got pissed and bit half my body off. I woke up then.

7. I had reoccurring dreams of tornadoes
In each successive dream, the tornado was closer.

One night the tornado passed over my belly. I haven't had that tornado dream since then.

8. Those Who Judge, or: Man's Best Friend...
In one of my many post-apocalyptic dreams, I'm driving along a deserted freeway looking for some sign of remaining civilization. There's nothing but charred and flattened landscape for miles on end, but I finally see something ahead.

As I approach, I see its a completely intact, gleaming skyscraper in the middle of nowhere, so I park in front and go indoors. Inside, the interior of the skyscraper is completely gutted and a pile of debris stands in the center of building.

At the top of this mountain is an Amazonian woman clad in chrome-plated armor flanked by two poodles sitting in boxes of chicken noodle soup. I ask the woman if there are any people left in the world, and she confers with the two poodles (who had obviously rose from their lowly station of 'man's best friend' to become Masters of All).

The answer, of course, that there is no answer, other than I must leave because there is no longer any place on Earth where mankind feels welcome.

While the two dogs and the woman are not unfriendly, they seem resigned and weary, but the woman makes it clear the two dogs are The Final Judge of Mankind, and her role was simply that of enforcer.

I leave, but I have no place to go.
