8. They eat mostly shellfish, crustaceans -- you know, the sort of stuff you
fin don overpriced seafood buffets -- and small fishes. They'll ambush small fishes, sometimes even luring them to their deaths. In this case, it's a small shark and a large octopus (it's got to be the Pacific giant octopus, found up around Puget Sound and points north). The film is amazing and certainly blew me away, even if the actual process is not out of line with how these molluscan predators fill the shopping cart.

Nobody's safe, even 'top predators.' Same old story.
