Any Frank Zappa and the Mothers fans here?
I'm not a fan of Zappa's solo work -- even as an elementary school kid exposed to Zappa by friends' older brothers, I understood that Zappa was what people now call "snarky", and there was something about him I didn't like. But I finally gave a listen to the Mothers Of Invention albums, "Freak Out" and "We're Only In It For The Money". Inventive stuff, impressive given the years in which they were recorded, 1966-1968.

2. Is the mono version of "We're Only..."
mixed any different than the stereo? I found a torrent of the mono version, though no one's seeding it at the moment.

4. I dont know, I've never heard the mono version.
I should have mentioned that all the Zappa albums I own are the Rykodisc reissues.
