I used to know one - but alas, cannot remember.

1. Why online?
THere's lots of free ones that you can install, and you don't have to let some website probe all of your sensitive files to do it.

3. AVG is good.
I personally run Symantec, but I know a lot of people who run AVG on their home PC's and have no problem with it. It catches everything the commercial ones catch. http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/ww

and uses this one when peeps don't have/want McAfee installed:
