Two 7 month old Collies
They're mine. All mine. Breeder couldn't sell them because they're ears aren't up (yet). I volunteered to adopt them. They need names. Any recommendations? They're both males. Thanks.

1. Ahhhhh
They are beautiful boys! Are they identical -- they certainly appear so in this photo. Hope you have a California king.

The one on the right is a rare white Collie. The one on the left has a sable back and black tail. These are two unusually marked Collies.

Only a King bed, but they're crate trained, until they're adults. Then, I guess Hubby will have to sleep on the couch. :)

3. The one on the right looks like a color headed white. That happens
with Shelties every once in awhile too...when breeders are trying for the merle colors.

Jessie Says, "HI!"

4. Awwwww
Thanks for the info. I did see both parents, both were sable and white. The one on the left has quite a bit of black around his collar, his tail and a spot coming through on his back.

Jessie is one pretty Sheltie. :)

16. Thank you! She is a bit spoiled.
Edited on Thu Dec-08-05 08:28 AM by MrsGrumpy
;) She's a pure for sable and was bred for showing. Her breeder thought she was too "leggy" and sold her to us on a pet contract. She ended up being a perfect 15"..the breeder was sad...but got over it. :) :hi: Enjoy those little boys. They are adorable. Nothing beats a herding dog.

On edit: this is a great web site for color explanation. :hi:

19. She was a little perturbed because she had been laying in my lap
and I moved her. ;)

She pretty much gets what she wants...or at least attempts it. She is my baby.

9. Ginger!
That's the only name I can come up with. Reminds me of Gingerbread men for some reason. They are both adorable.

One name that came to mind was Leo, but I'll have to give it some more thought.

13. Ringo & Bingo..
Might as well name them similar names, since they will answer to each other's names anyway:)

15. Having them together is wonderful
Breeding for looks is sin. I am so happy you took them both. They are so beautiful. Ears rising in the east or not. Try Sam and Dave. Good way to separate their names. But you know that they will ALWAYS come to you together from now on when you call.

And they will be inseparable.

22. Beautiful boys!
They're precious and lucky to have a home with you.

The one on the left has soulful eyes like my dear Adam. I lost my sheltie a couple years ago.

Give your guys hugs for me.
