Do you live in a fly in community?

No poll here. Just wondering if anyone here has a small to midsize plane and a 3200 foot runway infront of their home.:shrug:

1. Nope.

There is the Rockingham airport, but I don't even know if anyone uses the tiny little thing. I don't see how a plane could land there. It's a teeny little thing.

4. 5 guys who used to take turns driving to San Fransico every day

from Hanford...about a 4+ hour drive...they bought a plane and now fly daily. Am sure the 45-minute flight sure beats the old route!

6. The airport here has built hangers with living quarters

meeting rooms in addition to space to store the planes. I'm sure other airports have something similar. That's the closest thing I know of.

7. Live less than 2 miles from one....

But not in the community. Thought about it once, but DH doesn't like the cramped confines of cars, much less small planes.

We'll consider it again, though, if I ever turn in the next Da Vinci Code.

I remember seeing a guy with a plane on his front lawn and it was pointing down the street I assume was his runway...pretty cool
